DONALD ECK... (eckberry@frontiernet.net)
owner of Eckberry Farms in Cohocton, NY is the Director/Trainer of the Wayland Free Library’s Public Computing Center. Mr. Eck, in addition to his experience as owner/operator of Eckberry Farms, brings project management, computer programming, computer training and systems analysis experience gained while working in the oil industry. He will be responsible for selecting, installing and maintaining equipment, development and presentation of training courses focused on workforce development and computer skill and the day-to-day operation of the PCC. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Mathematics and an Executive MBA.

CHRISTINA PETRAITIS... (petraitisc@stls.org)
joined the Wayland Free Library staff as Public Computing Center Trainer. She will develop and present courses to provide workforce and digital literacy training. Ms. Petraitis is National Board Certified Teacher with a NYS Provisional Certificate in PreK-6 and North Carolina Certification in Elementary Education. Her experience includes technology training for both children and adults. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Education with concentration on Elementary Education and Mathematics.

ALAN HYMEN...(alan.hymen@gmail.com)

Alan Hymen brings nearly twenty years of teaching experience to the Wayland Library as a computer trainer in the Public Computing Center. He holds dual certification in New York State as a teacher in both Media Literacy and Speech Communications. Among his many achievements is an award-winning curriculum design for teaching multimedia technology to special education students, which was nationally recognized at a conference of the National Association for Media Literacy Education.

Alan is available for one-to-one help with computers Monday-Wednesday from 11a.m. - 5p.m. Appointments are suggested, but walk-ins are always welcome. Alan also oversees the Library’s Open Lab for Job Hunting each Wednesday from 2-4p.m
